John “Cocksy” Cocks

Cocksy’s memorable and long-running stint on TV2’s “My House, My Castle” made him one of New Zealand’s most well-loved tradesmen. A licensed builder, his practical DIY advice and down-to-earth nature have earned him a role as building consultant on a number of Kiwi building shows – like “Hot Property”, “Ground Force”, and “Changing Rooms”. Cocksy will be bringing over 25 years of building experience to the BNZ GoodHome team, offering helpful hints for every level – from the die-hard DIYer, to the first-time renovator.
